I ventured out of state for my first run of 2015. I knew that I wanted to get my best 10k time ever and I was able to accomplish it! The Hospital Hill Run was very hilly but not horribly so. Bret went along on the trip. I walked from the hotel down to the start line for the start. I ran straight back that way towards the Sprint Center after starting by Crown Center. Then you took a sharp right and went along another street before making your way towards the hospital. It then wound down and then the half marathoners took a left while I took a right. There was one tough hill towards the end and then a nice weaving downhill run to the finish line.

A wonderful day running with the kids. I started off a bit slow so I didn't hit my pr but had a great time for a great cause.

This was a fun trail race in Elmwood. What made it even more fun was that it was twilight when it was finishing. It was a good flat, small town race with a fun party after.

It wasn't my intention to do this, my fourth half marathon. When one of my best friends, Nunez, got called away for work to China I took his place in the race. This was Colbi's first half marathon and I was lucky to run it with her. She ended up kicking my butt but that made me even more proud.
