After a restless night, we got up and made our way to the 10K that started at Invesco Field. I was kind of disappointed because I had to walk/rest too much. First my right shoulder cramped up and then I just couldn't get the air in like usual. Not sure if it was the altitude or not but whatever it was...I struggled. But some of the views were great as we ran from outside Invesco (home of the Denver Broncos) to the Pepsi Center (home of the Colorado Avalanche/Denver Nuggets) to Coors Field (home of the Colorado Rockies) and then back to Invesco. In each case we got to run on the sidelines so it was a cool view.It was also a beautiful day. I still came close to my normal time. Without my cousin Greg pushing me I wouldn't have finished as high as I did.
