We left Lincoln around 7:20 a.m. (thank goodness for the time change) and we got there a little before 8 for a race that started at 8:30. We got to park very close.
We took over near the clubhouse and the first bit was all downhill which was nice and then we got onto some paths and up a steep hill. It was like that much of the rest of the way and it was a beautiful morning run. The leaves were beautiful and we even got to run on the course itself. The final part of the race was up a couple of hills. Very nice race with a lot of people.
I had our final time as being 43:43. We will have to see what it was officially for the four miles.
Afterwards we had some beer and some chili but no bagels (they were out).
